Auditing Classes

Full and Part-Time employees (excluding student workers and adjunct faculty) may audit any class offered by Rochester University at a 100% tuition waiver, provided space is available in the class. Employees may be bumped from the class if the spot is needed by a paying student of RC. The tuition waiver covers class tuition only and does not cover other fees or costs associated with the class.

Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct faculty are not considered regular part-time employees with regards to this policy and are therefore not eligible for any faculty/staff discount.

Discount Upon Termination

Tuition discount ceases upon termination. If the termination occurs mid-semester, a prorated discount will be calculated based on the number of weeks the former employee worked during the semester. Any balances that result are the responsibility of the student. Prorated discounts will apply to the former employee and any dependents enrolled in classes at the time of termination.
