THL 6063 Applied Theology Capstone Project
In this culminating course, students complete and present a major, field-based applied theology capstone project that demonstrates mastery in integrating biblical, theological, historical, and practical ministry disciplines. Working under the guidance of a faculty advisor, students design, execute, and evaluate a context-specific initiative—such as a strategic ministry framework, organizational restructuring plan, curriculum development project, or field-research project—that directly addresses a vital challenge in a church, parachurch, or community setting. The course concludes with a formal written deliverable and an oral defense before a faculty panel, showcasing executive leadership competence and missional effectiveness.
