EDU 3224 Classroom Teaching and Management
Introduces components of effective, high quality classroom teaching, including planning and preparation. Examines classroom organization and management and presents a variety of student-centered instructional approaches. Considers multiple ways to create an inclusive classroom environment and engage students in intentional learning. Analyzes various approaches to discipline in the classroom and evaluates a variety of strategies to handle disruptive behavior. Supervised 30-hour clinical experience required.
