Application Process
Graduate program applications are accepted year-round. However, graduate program admission committees begin reviewing applications on January 15 for students applying for a fall semester entry point and on May 15 for a spring semester entry point, after which admissions are on a rolling basis, if space is available. There is no published deadline; however, some programs are competitive and have a limited number of spaces for incoming students. Applicants who meet the January 15 or May 15 priority review dates have a greater probability of being admitted in their chosen semester entry point. In order to be considered in the January 15 or May 15 priority review group, the application must be completed (not just submitted) by 11:59 PM EST on January 15 or May 15.
The departments overseeing the program do not routinely contact applicants regarding missing application materials. Applicants are responsible for monitoring the checklist on their application status page for missing transcripts, references, and the like.
