Sports Management: Esports and Gaming Administration BBA

The Esports and Gaming Administration program prepares graduates with a blend of business fundamentals and sports management knowledge needed to work across industries while also developing the skills to manage the gaming industry and the growing role of Esports within it.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration, Sports Management (Esports & Gaming Administration) program will be able to:

  1. Develop professional standards which reflect responsible, sustainable, and ethical practices within the Esports and gaming community.
  2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the creation and development of games and effectively apply, integrate, and communicate this information through the implementation of games within the gaming industry.
  3. Analyze the Esports industry in terms of team, tournament, and league management and effectively evaluate and communicate the impact of economic, societal, and regulatory issues on the industry.
  4. Apply principles of marketing, sales, and distribution to the specific conditions of the Esports and games industry and understand the unique aspects of the Esports product, the Esports and games consumer, and the Esports and games marketplace.
  5. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the history and cultural significance of games and Esports.
  6. Demonstrate an understanding of financial, ethical, legal, and sociocultural issues in today’s world and how each applies to various aspects of the overall sports industry.
  7. Critically analyze and evaluate games as well as their themes, mechanics, and other components.
  8. Align personal, professional, and organizational conduct with ethical and professional standards of conduct including an understanding of corporate social responsibility.
