MCM 1045 Fundamentals of Television
This course teaches you successful on-camera performance, in addition to focusing on the basic theories and terms used in broadcast television. The course covers capturing footage, professional lighting techniques, microphone techniques and basic shot composition, along with other skills required to shoot professional interviews and other videos. You will also learn how to watch television and internet videos with a more critical eye, while learning to distinguish an amateur shot from a great one. In addition, you will explore career paths and opportunities available in the broadcast industry today. PR: acceptance into the Mass Communication degree with a Broadcast Media Arts track, offered through an articulation agreement with Specs@LTU.
