MCM 1035 Fundamentals of Radio
In this course, you will learn the necessary basic concepts of the radio industry, including the ability to communicate through the spoken word, and improving your writing skills. You will learn how to target both radio and online audiences. You will also learn digital editing software and production techniques, and develop skills in vocal performance, the operation of a professional audio board and the effective use of music and sound effects. You will record and produce various types of audio projects, and experience live remotes, live performance, and social media posting. PR: acceptance into the Mass Communication degree with a Broadcast Media Arts track, offered through an articulation agreement with Specs@LTU.
