ENG 1114 College Composition A with Workshop
An introduction to inquiry-based writing projects. Reading and annotating selected essays and articles. Attention given to revision and the research process as well as ancillary instruction with lab time. Applies to the General Education Core Research and Writing requirement. PR: Students are placed in
ENG 1114 Composition A with Workshop if they have a recent high school GPA of 2.49 or lower, or score below 500 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing on the new SAT, or score below 36 in English + Reading on the ACT test. Students can use their highest measure for placement.
