ENG 1113 College Composition A
An introduction to inquiry-based writing projects. Reading and annotating selected essays and articles. Attention given to revision and the research process. Applies to the General Education Core Research and Writing requirement. PR: Students are placed in
ENG 1113 Composition A if they have a recent high school GPA of 2.5 or higher, or score 500-590 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing on the new SAT, or score of 36-49 in English + Reading on the ACT test. Students can use their highest measure for placement.
