Withdrawal Process
To withdraw from the university, students should fill out the Course Add/Drop/Withdrawal form at http://my.RochesterU.edu/. Once the withdrawal form is received, the Office of the Registrar withdraws students from their courses and contacts the Center for Student Life, Student Financial Services, and the Business Office. Failure to contact the Office of the Registrar may result in a grade of F in all classes and/or no refunds on accounts. Please also be aware of the additional withdrawal requirements below:
- Residential students must move out of the residence halls within 24 hours of withdrawing from the institution. The student will need to coordinate with Residence Life to complete the proper move-out procedures in order to not incur further charges.
- All students must return outstanding materials to the HAM Library and check their library records for fines and/or lost items.
- Direct Loan borrowers are required to complete an exit interview online at www.studentloans.gov.
