18.2 Athletics Travel Policy

Athletic department recruiting trips for coaches will be reimbursed at a rate of $.50 per mile. Every effort should be made to plan trips in advance. A vehicle should be rented if it is more cost effective. However, as most recruiting trips cannot be planned out thus not giving the coach enough time to rent a vehicle, their own vehicle may be used. Therefore, pre-approval is not necessary. An expense report will be filled out at the completion of the trip. This policy supersedes and overrides the 150 mile radius rental car policy.
