MAT 2413 Statistics
Descriptive statistics; tables & charts; basic probability; probability distributions; confidence intervals; hypothesis testing; chi-square tests; linear regression & correlation; goodness-of-fit test; one-way ANOVA; and applications. May include an introduction to non-parametric statistics. PR: Recent high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, or minimum SAT Math score of 510, or minimum ACT Math score of 22, or ACCUPLACER QRAS score of 250-269, or MAT 1203, or minimum grade of C- in MAT 1003. Students can use their highest measure for placement. Students who do not meet the PR must be concurrently enrolled in MAT1042.
