MAT 1022 Support Topics for Survey of Mathematics
Non-Transferable. Support will focus on promoting mathematical reasoning, critical thinking skills, and essential skills needed for success in MAT 1203. This course is for students concurrently enrolled in Survey of Mathematics (MAT 1203). Support topics include basic algebra, logic, counting methods, probability and statistics, with additional topics selected from numeration and mathematical systems, number theory, geometry, graph theory, and mathematical modeling. Corequisite: MAT 1203. PR: Recent high school GPA below 3.0, or SAT Math below 510, or ACT Math score of 21 or below, or an ACCUPLACER QRAS score below 249. Students can use their highest measure for placement. Students may earn up to 6 hours of elective credit for developmental courses taken at Rochester Christian University.
