Accreditation

Rochester Christian University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The university is also a signatory of the MACRAO and Michigan Transfer Agreements, which facilitate the transferability of credits between Rochester Christian University and other Michigan institutions.

 

College Status:

Additionally, the university holds the following licensure, approvals, and memberships:

  • Licensed by the State of Michigan Board of Education and incorporated through the Michigan Corporation and Securities Commission
  • Member of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Michigan
  • Approved by the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the U.S. Department of Justice for the training of foreign students
  • Approved by the Michigan Department of Education for receipt of veterans benefits
  • Registered with the United States Internal Revenue Service as a nonprofit educational corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
  • The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is professionally accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • The Michigan Board of Nursing for pre-licensure baccalaureate program
  • Rochester Christian University's School of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
