SEN 2013 Corporate Responsibility and Social Enterprise

Students will become familiar with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the field of social enterprise (SE). Students will examine historical context, current theories, and debates about social change within nonprofit, for-profit, and government sectors. Throughout the semester students will examine the intersection of sustainable revenue generation and social good. Seated course: Required experiential learning component including class trips to local social good organizations and a course fee. Online course: Required experiential learning component, including service hours at a social good organization.
