MAT 2413 Elementary Statistics
Descriptive statistics; introductory probability; probability distributions; binomial and normal distributions; estimation; hypothesis testing; linear regression and correlation; and applications. May include goodness-of-fit tests; statistical process control; or non-parametric statistics. PR: Recent high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, or minimum SAT Math score of 510, or minimum ACT Math score of 22, or ACCUPLACER QRAS score of 250-269, or minimum grade of C- in MAT 1003. Students can use their highest measure for placement. Course fee.
