HCA 2303 Principles of Healthcare Administration
The focus of the course will be on the skills of healthcare administrators. Topics covered include but are not limited to: healthcare environment, leadership, communication, medical terminology; healthcare governance; operations; reimbursement; quality improvement; corporate compliance, ethical and legal considerations; change management, and strategic planning. Understanding of human resource management, financial and physical resource management, and organizational development will also be covered.
