EDU 3264 Ethics and Culture in Education

Examination of the ethics of teaching individuals from widely differing backgrounds. Students will examine moral and ethical dilemmas in educational settings. The course is designed to provide a background for candidates to become equity educators. Discusses effective teaching strategies for educators working with diverse K-12 students. The course includes a mandatory two-week intensive clinical placement that typically occurs in the first two weeks of May. PR: EDU 3224 and admission to the Teacher Educator Preparation Program.
