BIB 5303 Jesus and the Life of the Church
This course explores the abiding significance of the figure of Jesus for the life and faith of the church. As the primary sources for our understanding of Jesus of Nazareth are the four Gospels, much of this course centers around Gospel studies. This study, however, does not occur in a scholarly vacuum. Constant effort will be expended, both by professor and students, to engage these ancient texts in a way that witnesses to the Living Jesus amongst us today. Course fee.
