ENG 1114 College Composition A with Workshop
Writing and revising summary and response papers, an annotated bibliography, and researched paper(s). Reading and analysis of selected essays and articles as well as ancillary instruction with lab time. PR: Placement or grade of C or better in ENG 1003. Students are placed in ENG 1114 Composition A with Workshop if they have a recent high school GPA of 2.75-3.49, or score 450-490 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing on the new SAT, or score 31-35 in English + Reading on the ACT test. Students can use their highest measure for placement.
