PSY 3533 Developmental Neuropsychology
This course will explore the study of human brain-behavior relationships as they are experienced by children and adolescents. The development of child and adolescent cognition and theories of these developmental processes are presented. The effects of brain damage and brain disorders as they affect brain development in child/adolescent populations from neuropsychology and neuropsychiatric perspectives are addressed. Students will be introduced to neuroanatomy, neurodevelopmental impacts, assessment and treatment of neuro-related childhood and adolescent disorders. PR: PSY 3063.
