BIB 2983 Biblical Interpretation

Introduces students to the principles and practices of interpreting the New Testament, including the history of interpretation in the Christian tradition (from antiquity to the present) as well as contemporary currents in the field of biblical studies. The course also covers the basics of Greek grammar for the purpose of enhancing student research capabilities. Students will learn the best practices of exegesis, and the course culminates with an exegesis paper.
