Graduate Handbook 2026-2027

Application Process

Clinical Psychology program applications are accepted year-round. However, the Clinical Psychology admission committee begins reviewing applications on January 15 for students applying for a fall semester entry point, after which admissions are on a rolling basis, if space is available. After reviewing application materials, applicants who meet admissions criteria will be invited to campus for an interview with the Program Director and affiliated faculty. The program director will contact applicants within 2-3 weeks following the interview with their decision. In order to secure an available seat in the program, applicants receiving an offer of admission must respond to the offer within the time frame provided in the letter. There is no published deadline; however, the Clinical Psychology program may be competitive and have a limited number of spaces for incoming students. Applicants who meet the January 15 priority review dates have a greater probability of being admitted in their chosen semester entry point. In order to be considered in the January 15priority review group, the application must be completed (not just submitted) by 11:59 PM EST on January 15.

The departments overseeing the program do not routinely contact applicants regarding missing application materials. Applicants are responsible for monitoring the checklist on their application status page for missing transcripts, references and the like.
