BIO 4013 Intro to Bioinformatics
Algorithmic approaches in bioinformatics. This course develops fundamental but essential skills for manipulating, preprocessing, and analyzing high-throughput data for pattern extraction and knowledge discovery. It includes biological problems that can be solved computationally (e.g., discovering genes, and interactions among different genes and proteins) and algorithmic techniques with wide applicability in solving problems.
