REL 3923 World Religions
A discussion of the category of “religion,” with specific coverage of the major religious traditions in the world. Places Christianity in the global religious context, and discusses fruitful perspectives for respectfully understanding different religious systems. Special emphasis on face-to-face encounters, in the classroom and in various places of worship. Includes a weekend trip to Chicago that features scheduled interactions with Islamic, Hindu, Sikh, Bahá’í, and Buddhist communities. PR: REL 1002 OR HON 1102. Course fee.
