MIN 3873 Ministry Internship
Students will complete an internship in their field of ministry interest, completing tasks assigned to them by their supervisor, and a cultural analysis of the ministry setting using applied ethnography. Students must complete a minimum of 150 hours (over no fewer than 8 weeks), including both the work with an approved employer and assigned coursework. Students are required to complete their Ministry Internship in a location other than their home congregation, with exceptions for students who are already employed full-time in ministry. Application and interview required. Internship location chosen by department faculty. Graded on a pass/fail basis. PR: REL 1002 OR HON 1102; MIN 1333; junior status, instructor approval
