ECS 3523 Early Childhood Learning and Standards
Addresses the many ways teachers design and implement content areas with emergent curriculum to align with state standards. Students will learn to connect learning goals based on knowledge of child development, strengths, interests, learning styles, and needs of individual children and the social and cultural context in which children live. The use of appropriate technology is a part of this class. Documentation of an approved criminal background check is required to participate in fieldwork. Fifteen-hour clinical experience required.
