SMG 3123 Sports in Society
Examines the social issues that have impacted sports in America. Focus will be placed on a cultural studies approach, critically examining the role of race, ethnicity, gender, and social mobility in the context of American sport over the past thirty years, including the roles played by athletes, coaches, administrators, and fans.
