Course Catalog 2021-2022

Health Sciences, BS

The BS in Health Sciences major has three tracks: Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Pharmacy, and Health Care Management.

Pre-Physical Therapy and Pre-Pharmacy are designed for students interested in pursuing studies at either a pharmacy school or a physical therapy school. This degree will provide the essential background and requirements to enter these health-related programs. Students should consult the requirements of the specific programs to which they plan to apply.

The Health Care Management track is designed for students with an AAS in a health-related field to prepare for graduate study or career advancement. The degree completion program allows students to transfer up to 82 semester hours from accredited two-year community colleges. Students who have completed or are pursuing an AAS degree that does not have an articulation agreement with Rochester University should seek permission to enroll from the Science and Mathematics Department Chair.
