PSY 3423 Diversity and Cross-Cultural Psychology
A focus on the various aspects of psychology from a cross-cultural perspective. The nature of living in a pluralistic and multicultural society is addressed with an emphasis on issues of multicultural trends and characteristics of diverse groups. The student will examine cultural awareness and sensitivity in counseling and psychotherapy, gender issues, religious variables, and individuals with special needs. PR: PSY 3013 or PSY 3403.
